Measuring the impact of psychological capital components on achieving the highest levels of job satisfaction (An exploratory research in Shatt Al-Arab College and the University of Iraq in Basra)

Abstract
The aim of this research paper is to determine the components of the psychological capital by examining climate patterns, satisfaction and the quality of the work environment in universities and faculty departments from the point of view of the teaching staff in the Colleges of Shatt Al-Arab and Iraq in Basra. Through this study, the researcher hopes to highlight the prevailing reality about the components of psychological capital in the two colleges under study. The study also seeks to identify the most important factors and requirements concerned. It attempts to reveal the impact of these patterns (the organizational climate and the prevailing satisfaction) in the two colleges and measures their quality or levels, and the influence of this on the implementation of the highest levels of job satisfaction of faculty members. For this purpose, data that could explain the concept to us was collected through designing a controlled questionnaire that consisting of (10) questions. The other investigates the degree of satisfaction of the performance of the faculty members. It also consists of (10) questions to measure the five areas of satisfaction. The research sample consists of (70) permanent and temporary faculty members (lecturers). The results revealed a moderate degree of satisfaction among faculty members in all areas of job performance. The research paper comes out with a number of recommendations based on the arrived at results
